2. Overview
Your privacy is of highest priority to us.
Onecryption is designed to protect your data through true end-to-end encryption and local processing — no messages, files, or encryption keys ever leave your device unless you explicitly share them peer-to-peer.
We do not collect, process, or store any personal data on external servers.
3. Data Processing Within the App
a) Local Storage
All encryption keys, messages, and files are stored only on your device in encrypted form.
No data is uploaded, synced, or backed up to our servers.
b) Peer-to-Peer Transfers
When you exchange keys or encrypted files, they are transmitted directly between devices using peer-to-peer communication (e.g. Bluetooth, local Wi-Fi, or AirDrop).
No external servers or third parties are involved.
c) In-App Purchases (RevenueCat)
For handling in-app purchases and subscriptions, we use the third-party service RevenueCat, Inc.
RevenueCat processes minimal data required by Apple and the App Store for purchase validation (for example, anonymized identifiers and purchase receipts).
We do not receive any personal user data from RevenueCat.

4. Website
Our website www.onecryption.com provides general information about the app and includes an optional contact form that allows you to send us messages directly.
When you use the contact form, the following data may be processed:
your name (if provided),
your email address,
your message content,
and any other information you voluntarily include.
This data is transmitted securely and used solely to respond to your inquiry.
It is not shared with third parties and will be deleted once your request has been handled, unless legal retention obligations apply.
The website does not use analytics, cookies, or tracking technologies beyond what is technically necessary to deliver the site.
5. Legal Basis
Processing of contact form submissions is based on Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures) or, where applicable, on your consent under Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR.
No profiling or advertising use of the data takes place.
6. Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, or rent user data.
The only communication happens peer-to-peer between devices you authorize.
7. User Rights (GDPR)
You have the right to:
request information about personal data we may hold (we generally hold none);
request deletion of local data (by uninstalling the app);
contact us with privacy-related questions via info@neelixx.com.
8. Security
Onecryption uses a One-Time-Pad encryption system, ensuring that only the intended recipient can decrypt your data.
All cryptographic operations occur locally on your device.
9. Children’s Privacy
The app is not directed to children under 16 years of age.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if features or legal requirements change.
